Theorem

The following formula holds: $$I_{\frac{1}{2}}(z)=\sqrt{\dfrac{2}{\pi z}}\sinh(z),$$ where $I_{\frac{1}{2}}$ denotes the modified Bessel function of the first kind and $\sinh$ denotes the hyperbolic sine.
