Theorem

The following formula holds: $$\dfrac{\mathrm{d}}{\mathrm{d}x} \mathrm{gd}(x)=\mathrm{sech}(x),$$ where $\mathrm{gd}$ denotes the Gudermannian and $\mathrm{sech}$ denotes the hyperbolic secant.
