Theorem

The following formula holds: $$I_{-\frac{1}{2}}(z)=\sqrt{\dfrac{2}{\pi z}} \cosh(z),$$ where $I_{-\frac{1}{2}}$ denotes the modified Bessel function of the first kind and $\cosh$ denotes the hyperbolic cosine.
