The exponential integral $\mathrm{Ei}$ is defined by $$\mathrm{Ei}(z) = \int_{-\infty}^x \dfrac{e^t}{t} \mathrm{d}t, \quad \left|\mathrm{arg}(-z) \right|<\pi.$$
