The hyperbolic cotangent is defined by $$\mathrm{coth}(z)=\dfrac{1}{\tanh(z)}=\dfrac{\mathrm{cosh}(z)}{\mathrm{sinh}(z)},$$ where $\tanh$ denotes the hyperbolic tangent function.
