The haversine function $\mathrm{haversin} \colon \mathbb{C} \rightarrow \mathbb{C}$ is defined by $$\mathrm{haversin}(z)=\dfrac{\mathrm{versin}(z)}{2},$$ where $\mathrm{versin}$ denotes the versine.
