Relationship between cot, Gudermannian, and csch

Theorem[edit]

The following formula holds: $$\cot(\mathrm{gd}(x))=\mathrm{csch}(x),$$ where $\cot$ is the cotangent, $\mathrm{gd}$ is the Gudermannian, and $\mathrm{csch}$ is the hyperbolic cosecant.
