The $\mathrm{cd}$ function is defined by $$\mathrm{cd}(u)=\dfrac{\mathrm{cn}(u)}{\mathrm{dn}(u)},$$ where $\mathrm{cn}$ is the Jacobi cn function and $\mathrm{dn}$ is the Jacobi dn function.
