Definition
The sine function $\sin \colon \mathbb{C} \rightarrow \mathbb{C}$ is defined by $$\sin(z)=\dfrac{e^{iz}-e^{-iz}}{2i},$$ where $e^{iz}$ denotes the exponential function.
